Day Excursion Lokon Volcano Trekking
Trek up to North Sulawesi’s most active volcano through wild terrain, volcanic outcrops, and follow an amazing lava flow to the rim of Lokon Volcano. On the way look out for birds and other wildlife that live on the volcano’s slopes and gullies, and upon reaching the rim of Lokon the sounds, the sheer size, features and view in to the crater, and maybe even rumbling below your feet are sure to excite. A favorite for all who trek Lokon is a cool drink, lunch and snacks near the edge of the crater surrounded by a lunar like landscape.

Dolphin Tour
Join one of our 05:30am Dolphin tours to experience the exhilaration of traveling along with hundreds of Common and Spinner Dolphins. Various Pods of 60+ Dolphins often put on a spectacular show from all viewing angles from our boat, and are so close that sometimes guests get wet from the splash of their tails. Our success rate of finding the large Pods is better than 90%, and approximately 40% of the time we’re lucky enough to have Pilot Whales accompanying the Dolphins too!
Schedule:
Depart from resort at 05:30 and usually return 08:15 for breakfast

Day Excursion to Minahasa Highlands & Mahawu Volcano
Tour up into the beautiful lush tropical highland country of North Sulawesi’s Minahasa region to experience the colors and variety of Tomohon traditional markets, the spectacular volcanic lake Linow (lake of changing colors), walk the steps up Bukit Kasih hot springs area where at the top you will discover the coming together of 4 major religions, and views to take your breath away, visit the village of Woloan to see a range of traditional wooden Minahasa knock-down houses displayed for sale, take in the clean air and tranquility while having a traditional Minahasan lunch at a restaurant situated over the water of the famous Tondano Lake, and walk around the rim of the active Mahawu Volcano.

Day Excursion to Tangkoko Jungle Reserve
Come and experience the unique natural wonders and endemic species that is North Sulawesi. This full day tour is ideal for those non-diving days and is a must for nature lovers. North Sulawesi boasts some of the world’s widest variety in biodiversity both above and below the water. Let our experienced guides show you North Sulawesi’s natural treasures and discover creatures that are only found here.
Wonder at the Tarsius Spectrum, the smallest carnivorous primate in the world which is endemic to North Sulawesi. Also found in large troops in the park are North Sulawesi Crested Black Macaques, which are again endemic to North Sulawesi. Many other Mammals, birds, and reptiles are residents of the park and the rangers have keen eyes for spotting them. It’s the Tarsius that most people specifically come to see, and they usually melt the hearts of those who see them. (There are no cages or compounds here, as it is a natural jungle reserve)
